When you call David of McClard & Son Irrigation, you will see the time, care and dedication he puts into servicing your need. When you need an estimate in Apex, David will make an appointment with you at your convenience. He will listen to your ideas, discuss your irrigation needs in depth, explain the various products and irrigation methods available, make recommendations, and plan a system that best meets your individual needs. Based on this meeting, David will give you an estimate, and answer any questions you have. Once we are given the opportunity, the installation of your lawn sprinkler begins.

When that day arrives, David, along with his crew will be there to begin the work. David oversees the crew, making sure that all irrigation systems are installed with the needs of the customer as their first priority. He will discuss the areas to be covered, and the areas not to be included, as well as any special arrangements such as, drip systems, location of controllers, rain gauge and other system components.

You can feel confident that our crew will treat your property as if it was their own…with care and respect. After each day of the irrigation install, your property will be cleaned, and no tools will be left on the job site.

In Apex, David installs all irrigation systems with the open trench method. This allows David and his crew to see exactly where the wire and pipe is being laid. Should there be any rocks, 2×4’s, nails or anything else left behind from the builder that could damage the pipe, these are removed before filling in the trench. With the plow type method, we have noticed an increase in stress fracture to the pipe. Also, with this type method there is stress to the lawn which shows up 2-3 weeks after the install. This is due to the roots of the grass being severed and going into shock.

When the installation is complete, David will show you how the system works, including the use of the controller, as well as the location of the system components. The irrigation system will be set up for the water restrictions that Apex has for watering your lawn.  The system is also covered by a 3-5 year guarantee against defects in material and workmanship.
